John DAVIES of Bowral, NSW. A former Army Reserve Officer, and also a Chartered Accountant. | ||||
John has given exemplary service to the Association since its formation in 1992 with expert financial advice and guidance, setting up | ||||
the Associations financial structure, as well as carrying out the annual duties of Auditor on a honorary basis. | ||||
Michael THOMPSON of Tongala, Vic. A former Service person himself, Michael has been the instigator and the driving force behind | ||||
the Planning and construction of the Avenue of Honour located in Tongala, honouring those Armoured Corps members Killed in Action | ||||
in Vietnam. He further constructed the Light Horse Memorial, also located in Tongala, and was hugely involved with the planning, | ||||
construction and opening phases of the National War Memorial for Cavalry. | ||||
He has dedicated his adult life to the honour of Ex service personnel through construction of other memorials in towns in Victoria. | ||||
